Dr. Evan Leibu, MD
Dr. Evan Leibu is an adult psychiatrist with experience and interest in treating a diverse selection of psychiatric conditions. Dr. Leibu is involved in resident education as the Pharmacology Course Director for the Mount Sinai Psychiatry Residency. He has a focus on the psychopharmacological treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder and was previously part of the Clinical and Research Staff at the Mount Sinai Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders Program. Dr. Leibu also has experience in the treatment of mental health issues affecting students and young professionals and was previously part of Student Trainee Mental Health at Mount Sinai.
Prior to his medical training he was a researcher in the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and published in the area of genomics. He earned his medical degree from The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was awarded the Gilbert M. Beck Award for academic excellence in psychiatry and the Elizabeth Medical Award for compassion and ethics. He was inducted into the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha in 2010. He completed his Residency and Chief Residency in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital.
In addition, he is a member and faculty at The New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and a Member of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
Dr. Leibu is Licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California.
Dr. Olga Leibu, MD
Dr. Olga Leibu is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist with a clinical focus on obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD and related conditions), attention deficit disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. She is also dedicated to promoting wellness and improving functioning, particularly among artists and individuals engaged in creative pursuits from entertainment to tech industries. She has been an active member of Creative Cares, a nonprofit mental health organization serving the artistic community. Dr. Leibu also has experience in the treatment of mental health issues affecting students and young professionals and was previously part of Student Trainee Mental Health at Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai.
Dr. Leibu earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at SUNY Buffalo. She completed training in Family Medicine at the Atlantic Health System, Overlook Hospital and in Adult Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Health System, followed by fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell Universities. She also trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Columbia University’s Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
Dr. Leibu is on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and serves as Co-Chair of the Early Career Psychiatry Committee at the New York Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she has previously chaired the International, Communications, and Member-in-Training Committees. Dr. Leibu holds memberships at the American Academy of Child Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
Bilingual in Russian and English, Dr. Leibu integrates a cultural and contextual perspective into her work and collaborates closely with other providers to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.
She is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and California.

Dr. Ehsan Moazen-Zadeh, MD MS
Dr. Ehsan Moazen
Dr. Ehsan Moazen is a psychiatrist and trauma therapist with expertise in obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and stress-related conditions that lead to repetitive behaviors or avoidance. His clinical work includes the treatment of trauma, OCD, tics, generalized anxiety, and anxiety related to physical symptoms, often alongside attention and executive-function difficulties. He is also experienced in LGBTQ+ mental health and works extensively with neurodivergent individuals, tailoring care to each patient’s strengths and challenges.
Dr. Moazen has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and interpersonal psychodynamic therapy. His approach is grounded in the belief that healing begins with connection, placing the therapeutic relationship at the center of care and emphasizing trust, safety, and collaboration.
He completed his psychiatry residency and postdoctoral fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital, with additional training at leading institutions including the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania, Mount Sinai’s Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery, the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, the AEDP Institute, and the William Alanson White Institute.
A faculty member at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Moazen teaches psychiatry residents and previously served as Physician-Scientist Chief Resident. His research focuses on psychiatric treatment and health disparities, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications and more than 1,000 citations. He has served as a reviewer for JAMA Psychiatry and the American Journal of Psychiatry and hosts @Psych.Minutes, a social media series translating complex mental-health topics into clear, evidence-based insights.

Dr. Ariel Tabachnik
Dr. Ariel Tabachnik is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with expertise in the psychopharmacological treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. She specializes in bipolar and related mood disorders and has additional experience treating obsessive compulsive and related disorders, other anxiety conditions, and psychotic illnesses. Dr. Tabachnik works with patients across the lifespan and particularly enjoys supporting young adults navigating academic and professional transitions, drawing on her experience as a provider at Baruch College’s Counseling Center.
She earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, where she served as resident lead for the long-term psychotherapy training program. Dr. Tabachnik is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she teaches residents.
In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Tabachnik is completing advanced training in sex therapy at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. Her therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to foster self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful connection.

Beatrice is a healthcare administrator with extensive experience facilitating the administrative processes of psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals across New York City.
